Serena Bockelman serves as Vice President of Funeral Operations at Cypress Lawn.
Serena began her career at Service Corporation International in a Sales Counselor role. Within her first six months, she brought in over $1 million in sales and earned the “Rookie of the Year” award.
She went on to become a Universal Counselor, which added the responsibility of assisting families with pre-arrangements and helping with their arrangements at their time of need. Serena was later promoted to Market Sales Manager. Since moving into this role, her team sold over $13 million (139% YOY).
Serena brings expertise in efficiency, organization, and innovation to Cypress Lawn. She believes in hard work and cultivating a culture of positivity and support.
Born and raised in the Mission District, Serena has lived in the Bay Area her entire life. Serena and her husband have a daughter.
