On Sunday, July 21, celebrate National Ice Cream Day at San Francisco’s Ice Cream Festival at District Six from noon to 5 p.m. Enjoy live music, games, and all kinds of frozen treats at this family-friendly gathering. Cultural Feasts and Beats
Chinatown is one of San Francisco’s most vibrant neighborhoods, and the Cultural Feasts and Beats at Restaurant Row, a bi-weekly, warm-weather festival, celebrates this unique enclave. Stop for a delicious lunch at one of Restaurant Row’s world-class eateries on your way to the iconic Great Star Theater, where you can enjoy live guzheng musical performances and experience Chinese calligraphy and watercolor painting. Telescope Viewing at Chabot Space and Science Center
Summer is one of the best times of the year to enjoy a telescope viewing at Chabot Space and Science Center. Every Friday and Saturday from 7:30-10:30 p.m., visitors gather on the Chabot Observatory Deck to gaze at stars, planets, and more through the center’s three large telescopes. Santa Clara County Fair
From July 25-28, the Santa Clara County Fair celebrates its 80th year! Enjoy livestock shows, thrilling carnival rides, delicious fair food, and more at this one-of-a-kind festival.
