Every year Cypress Lawn pays tribute to all veterans for their service in defense of the freedom that we are all enjoying.
Join us for this special gathering featuring Scott A. Huesing, bestselling author, renowned public speaker, and combat leader. Scott is a retired United States Marine Corps Infantry Major who has served 24 years both enlisted and as a commissioned officer in over 60 countries. His award-winning bestseller, Echo in Ramadi: The Firsthand Story of US Marines in Iraq’s Deadliest City (Regnery, 2018), is a gripping portrayal of an important snapshot in time. Scott has been a featured guest on Fox & Friends, C-SPAN, and many other television and radio programs. Don’t miss this unique opportunity to hear his inspiring story in person.
All families and friends of veterans and the general public are welcome to join us in a moving memorial service for our fallen heroes. See the unique avenue of flags, enjoy live patriotic music, and enjoy a hot dog lunch. Free flags are available.
