Alexandria Rossella Croft
Dec 15, 1993 – Oct 29, 2024

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Alexandria Rossella Croft, known to all as Alex, who passed away on November 29, 2024 at the age of 30. Alex was a beloved daughter, granddaughter, sister, niece, cousin, and friend whose brilliance, independence, and kindness left an indelible mark on everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.
Born on December 15, 1993, in Redwood City, CA, Alex was raised in Foster City, where she attended San Mathew’s Catholic Elementary School, Bowditch Middle School, and Burlingame High School. She went on to graduate from Arizona State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communication/Media Studies before pursuing her dream of working in sports management. In May 2024, Alex graduated with a Master of Science in Sports Business from New York University (NYU), a testament to her drive and determination.
Alex had the innate ability to connect with people. Her empathy and generosity made those around her feel seen, heard, and valued. Her smile lit up the room. Her infectious laugh was a source of joy.
Alex’s experiences took her across the world, from London where she worked for ESPN to Florida where she interned with the Women’s Tennis Association. Her travels were a reflection of her spirit—bold, fearless, and always in pursuit of something more. Whether she was on vacation with her mom and sister in Hawaii, Lake Tahoe, or Italy, Alex embraced every moment with a sense of purpose and presence. The decision to move to New York City to attend NYU marked a defining chapter in Alex’s journey. It was a courageous move, one that embodied her commitment to chasing her dreams.
Alex is survived by her loving family: her mother Monica Mulligan, her father Eddie Croft, her siblings Desea Bond, McClain (Mac) Croft, Mosley Croft, Kaya, Croft, and Edward (Eddie) Croft. Alex leaves a legacy of deep love and a reminder of the importance of compassion and connection. She will be forever missed.
