Angel Villar Rivera Jr. — VIEWLOGIES

On Tuesday, April 23, 2024, Angel Villar Rivera, Jr. loving son, brother,
brother-in-law, and uncle passed away at the young age of 60 at his home in
San Francisco, California.
Angel was born on October 4, 1963 in Manila, Philippines to the late Angel,
Sr., and Remedios Rivera. He was the eldest son of the two children. In 1982,
both Angel and his younger brother Gil lost their father at a very young age.
Angel known by his close family and relatives as “Boy” graduated from
Mission High school in San Francisco, CA and was not able to finish college
because he needed to aid the family’s need.
Angel worked two jobs to support his mother and younger brother, Gil.
He was a hardworking man. He worked at a parking garage at night while
during the day, he’s a shop steward / food service worker at Zuckerberg San
Francisco General Hospital formerly known as SF General Hospital for 37
years.
He loved fishing, crabbing, and singing karaoke with family and friends. And
most of all spending quality time with his nephews, Gabriel and Gaven doing
what the boys love to do, playing arcade games, shopping, and outdoor
activities.
Angel enjoyed watching Gabriel and Gaven play basketball. When the boys
do good in basketball, he was a one proud uncle. The smile in his face was
priceless. He would always ask the boys where they would like to go eat or
what they want. He spoiled them like his own children. He would always hug
and play with them all the time he can. When he’s with us, he never fails to
joke around, always smiling and ensure people are happy. However, those
will now be forever memories of him.
Angel leaves to cherish his loving memory to his only brother – Gill and
sister-in-law – Analyn and his nephews Gabriel (12) and Gaven (8), Halfsiblings,
Aunties, cousins, nieces, nephews, friends, and co-workers
