Anthony Dizon Yabut Jr.

Anthony Dizon Yabut Jr. was born to Antonio Yabut Sr. and Pacencia Dizon Yabut on February 19, 1940 in the Philippines. He grew up in the town of Masantol and graduated from Binalbagan Catholic College with a Bachelor of Science in Commerce on June 26, 1968.

Tony married his longtime neighborhood friend, Nelly Cruz on January 21, 1970 in the Philippines. He then immigrated to the United States soon after. They shared 47 wonderful years of marriage. He worked the majority of his life at Sheraton Hotel and Gramercy Towers in San Francisco for more than 30 years.

Tony was preceded in death by his loving wife, Nelly; his parents Antonio Sr. and Pacencia; his first grandson, Marcus and his six siblings: Eddy, Piping, Jesse, Euling, Pining and Coning.

He is survived by his children: Michael Yabut (wife Cindy), Darren Yabut (wife Heather) and Shereen Yabut Fernandez (husband Anthony) and his two siblings: Nita and Emy. He was a proud grandfather to Sean (age 21), Ferris (age 18), Dylan (age 15) and Colt (age 11).

While we mourn his passing, we find comfort in knowing that he is now reunited in heaven with his family. Their love and laughter continue beyond this life, watching over those he left behind.

Rest in paradise, Dad. You will always be loved.
