Araceli De La Cruz Alcantara
Aug 30, 1949 – Jan 5, 2025

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Araceli, aged 75, who left this world peacefully in her sleep on January 5, 2025, after battling complications from kidney failure.
She was a devoted mother, Lola, and wife whose warmth and beautiful smile touched everyone who knew her. She is survived by her husband (Roberto), her three daughters (Rachel, Racquel, Rea) and their spouses, and her seven cherished grandchildren who brought her endless joy and pride.
Araceli had a zest for life that shone through in her many passions. She found joy in the simple art of knitting, creating beautiful pieces that will remain treasured keepsakes for her family. She loved to travel especially to the casino, where she delighted in the thrill of the slot machines. A gifted cook, her kitchen was the heart of her home filled with the comforting aromas of lumpia and any of her daughters’ and grandkids’ favorite dishes.
Her unwavering love, boundless support, and selfless nature formed the bedrock of her family. She embodied strength and comfort, serving as an inspiring example of true selflessness. She leaves behind a legacy of love that will live on in the lives she touched.
A private memorial service will be held at Cypress Lawn Funeral Home where immediate family will gather to celebrate her life and bid her a loving farewell as she is placed in her final resting place.
Though she is no longer with us, Araceli will forever be remembered for the love she gave, the memories she created, and the lives she enriched. She will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
