Barbara Rose Cirullo, a five-year Pacifica resident, was born to Bess Ann Buntele and Anthony J Cirullo on November 19th, 1960, in San Francisco, CA. On March 5, 2025, Barbara left us unexpectedly.

Barbara is survived by her brother Geoff Cirullo, son Anthony Sprotti and his wife Stacy, grandson Luca, granddaughters Mia and Emilia Sprotti, daughter Jenna Sprotti, and granddaughter Nyah Thomas.

Barbara is predeceased by her mother, Bess Ann “Betty” Cirullo, her father, Anthony Cirullo, her brother, Gregory Pierce, and her sister, Beverly Pierce.

Growing up in the Mission District, Barbara was a Girl Scout, volleyball coach, and Senior class Vice President. Participating in and giving back to the community was important to her. She enjoyed going on adventures, traveling the world, and attending concerts in her hometown of San Francisco. She later graduated from Skyline College with her associate’s degree and from Cal State Hayward with a Bachelor’s degree in human development.

Barbara was a doting grandmother who loved sneaking candies and little gifts to them. She was especially impassioned with her granddaughters’ dancing performances and grandson’s baseball games.

While later facing health challenges, she enjoyed these last years in Pacifica, meeting friends for coffee or lunch, walking along the Pacifica Pier, and attending her water aerobics classes.

To know Barbara meant that you enjoyed life, and living life on life’s terms. She loved to see the humor in anything and everything.

The family has decided to have a private celebration of life. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the The Latino Commission of San Mateo County
