Cypress Lawn Funeral Home

Our beautiful mother, Blanca Ebdani Ganzon, sadly passed away on October 8, 2023, at the age of eighty-three. She was born in San Lorenzo, Sorsogon City, Philippines on August 17, 1940. She was the eldest sister of nine siblings. Four older brothers, and three younger sisters. She later immigrated to the United States in November 1967 with her husband, Ernesto Viray Ganzon. She formally resided in San Francisco, California for many years and later moved to Sacramento, California in 2005. She is survived by her daughter, Jesusan Ganzon Manalo, and her son, Joseph Ebdani Ganzon and grandchildren, Destin Manalo, Will Manalo, Jr., Brandon Manalo, Lee Ganzon, and Ro Ganzon.

Blanca was a loving and devoted wife,  a wonderful mother who was always there and always tended to her children’s needs while sustaining an effortless grace. She selflessly gave to friends and had an immense love for family. Her love, kindness and generosity were always abounding. She always thought of others before herself until the very end. Motivated and full of determination, Blanca worked in the hotel industry for forty-two loyal years providing a good life for her family and for her mother, Isabel,  father, Menardo Ebbani and her nine siblings back in her beloved country. She loved the career path she chose and the people she worked with who later became very strong friendships through the years.  Mom loved traveling, dancing, fashion, playing games on her iPad, cooking and preparing food for friends and family and just being happy. She retired in 2015 to take on the responsibility of caring for  her husband during his illness. After the passing of our father, her greatest joy was her dog, Lucky, who became her best friend. Lucky never left her side and was her faithful companion. The remaining years of her life were spent creating fulfilling memories with family and friends.

Funeral Services are scheduled for Friday, November 3rd  from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on November 4th from 12:30 PM to 2:30 PM at Cypress Lawn Memorial Park in Colma CA, followed immediately with the interment that will be held at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery at 3:00 PM.
