Daniel Anthony DAmico passed away Wednesday December 6, with his family by his side, after a short battle with cancer.

Dan was born and raised in the Excelsior District in San Francisco and graduated from Riordan High School in 1962. He was a 60-year member of IBEW Local 6 in San Francisco. He was active in CERT and FCARES of Foster City. He was also a longtime member of the Golden Gate Rod and Gun Club.

He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Dianne DAmico of Foster City. His loving sons Tony DAmico of Novato and Joe (Christine) DAmico of Burlingame and his grandchildren, Danielle and Alyssa of Novato and Annie, Ricky, and Dominic DAmico of Burlingame. He is also survived by his brother-in-law, Fred Virgilio of Belmont.

Private services will be held. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to Peninsula Humane Society or Samaritan House.
