Dorothy passed away peacefully in San Mateo. Third generation San Franciscan, long time parishioner of St. Cecilia Parish, beloved wife of John “Bud” Anders for 56 plus years. Retired employee of the city and county of San Francisco. Loving mother of sons Robert (Coral Romero) and James (Roseann). Preceded in death by brother Arthur Cook. Survived by her many nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends. Special thank you to Chris and Mercy at Judy’s Elderly Care Home for their wonderful compassion.

A memorial service will be held on February 2, 2024 at 11am at Holy Cross Cemetery in Colma. Reception to follow.

In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to St. Jude Children’s Research or Little Sisters of the Poor St. Anne’s Home San Francisco.
