Francis Ho Kwan Wong

August 1, 1962 – February 8, 2025

Francis Ho Kwan Wong, age 62, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 8, 2025 in his home in San Francisco after a courageous battle with gastric cancer. Born on August 1, 1962, in Hong Kong, he later immigrated to San Francisco, California in 1987. Francis married Vinh Tran in 1999 in San Francisco’s city hall. He pursued a fulfilling career as a photographer for 37 years in the Bay Area, then later worked as TSA personnel in 2017. Francis lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures; sharing a meal with friends and family, connecting with his community online, and creating lasting memories through photos and videos. He is survived by his wife, Vinh; his two daughters, Josephine and Fiona; and his nine siblings.

Family, friends, and others whose lives Francis touched are welcomed at the Tiffany Chapel in Colma, California from 12:30PM-2:30PM on Saturday March 15, 2025 to celebrate his life. The memorial service will be presided by Pastor Joshua, followed by a reception at Daisy’s Kitchen in South San Francisco.

Francis’s memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved him, his legacy of love, laughter, and resilience forever inspiring those he leaves behind.
