Gary Lynn Norris Jr.

Gary was born in Carson City and grew up in Lansing MI.  He graduated from the University of Michigan where his studies were focused on film production.  He produced and starred in his own TV show.  After graduation Gary made his way to California looking for the sunshine, beaches and the Pacific Ocean.  Gary was a very talented musician.  He loved playing in bands.  First with his dad in Michigan and then later in California.  Gary was committed to helping others.  He supported American Veterans and food banks.  He loved dogs and cats, despite his allergies.  Gary had an extraordinary career in video production, and then in software development.  Gary filmed some big name celebrities like Steve Jobs and Joe Namath, and as a software engineer he worked for top Silicon Valley companies – Skype, Jawbone, Microsoft and Twilio.  Gary had a big heart, and is remembered as a definition of the nice guy.  He was loved by his family, friends and co-workers.
