Ian. What a consistent, determined, and life-desiring fight you gave these last few years. It was my honor to be by your side through so much of it. Your dedication to your medical regime was inspiring. Throughout the years you have been a source of counsel for me on many occasions, offering quiet wisdom, encouragement and support. We shared deep thoughts and heartfelt experiences that I will never forget. Oh, how I will miss you. The emptiness already permeates my heart daily.
