Jean Marylin Kimball

Jean Marylin Kimball passed away on Monday, November 6^th alongside her loving husband.  She touched so many lives with her giving spirit and enthusiastic energy.

Jeanne was born in San Francisco, CA and was the youngest child of Joseph D. and Josephine A. Sheedy.  She attended Washington High School in San Francisco where she met her husband of more than 62 years, Peter Kimball.

Jeanne spent her formative years leading aerobic dancing classes and raising the couple’s three children, Kathleen Noel of Cincinnati OH, Peter Eric of Glenwood Springs CO, and John Andrew of Redwood Shores CA.  As the children grew up, she co-founded an interior design business located on the peninsula (The Interior Hangup) with her childhood friend and fellow San Franciscan, Rudona Bleichner.

Jeanne’s greatest delight later in life came with the arrival of her grandchildren.  Her devotion and motherly instincts were never stronger, best known to them as Nana, she showered them with an unmatched level of love, kindness, and generosity.

Jeanne is survived by her husband Peter, daughter Kathy, and two sons Eric and Andy.  She is also survived by her grandchildren, Joey Kimball, Claire Kimball, and Nikki Myers.

Burial services at Holy Cross Cemetery will be attended by immediate family only.

A celebration of life will be held at The Olympic Club Lakeside for family and friends on Tuesday, November 21^st.
