Father Joe passed away on Tuesday, January 28th surrounded by his family and friends.

Born in Chicago on August 11, 1955; the family moved to California when Joe was 7 years old.  An avid sports fan, he spent many years playing and coaching baseball, softball and basketball.

Father Joe was ordained April 13, 1991 at St. Mary’s Cathedral in San Francisco, California. During his 30-plus years as a priest he served as a teacher, campus ministry chaplain, football chaplain and school president at Junipero Serra High School.

Father Joe’s kind and compassionate nature made him approachable, even during difficult situations. He will always be remembered for his natural ability to meet people where they were, always free from judgment.

Father Joe is proceeded in death by his parents, John and Ellen Bradley. 

He is survived by his siblings Maureen Bradley, John (Diana) Bradley, nieces and nephews Megan and Kevin Gates, JT, Brittany and Adriana Bradley, and many cousins.
