Linda Marie Andreacchi
Jul 20, 1949 – Feb 23, 2025

Linda Andreacchi, our beloved mother, sister, grandmother, aunt, cousin, great-aunt, and friend, passed away peacefully on February 23, 2025, at the age of 75.
She was surrounded by her daughters and close family who loved her. Linda was a bright light and beautiful soul. She was born July 20, 1949, in San Francisco at St. Mary’s Hospital and was the fourth child of World War 2 Veterans, Nicholas Andreacchi and Betty Andreacchi (née Gresh). The family of 10 lived in South San Francisco, where Linda attended grammar school at Buri Buri, Alta Loma Junior High. She then graduated from Mercy High School, where in sewing class, she developed a lifelong love for fashion.
Linda and her former spouse Rory Fischer were married in 1968 and together they had two daughters–Shannon Fischer and Kelly Bernal (née Fischer).
Linda began her professional career in real estate, working at Gilmartin Realty in San Bruno and later at Trotter Realty in Millbrae. Her talent and success in the field earned her the prestigious Million Dollar Club award twice and an invitation to be in the Who’s Who of American Women book.
After retiring, Linda turned her attention to caring for the beloved pets of family and friends. She was interested in a wide variety of artsy things including fashion, decorating and at one point she won a writing contest and had some of her poetry published.
One of the proudest roles of her life was becoming a grandmother, to her grandson.
As his “Mammaw”, she was his #1 fan in all his endeavors and interests, especially his interest in football. She learned all about the sport, the teams, and the players so they could share that common interest. She never missed one of his high school football games, when given the opportunity to see him play and cheer him on.
Spending time with her two daughters, grandson, and close family brought Linda the greatest joy in her later years. She was a beloved “Auntie Linda” to two generations of nieces and nephews. As always, Linda’s love for animals was evident in the care she gave to her dog, Pepper, and her daughters’ cherished family pets.
Proud of her Italian heritage, Linda traveled to her grandparents’ hometown of Petrizzi, Italy, where she visited her brother and felt an instant connection with extended family and new friends. She also loved accompanying her daughter Kelly on business trips and frequently visiting her brothers near the Russian River, a place that held fond memories from her early years.
Linda had a passion for country music, all things Western, and fashion. She delighted in thoughtful gift-giving, treasured shopping for unique finds, and carried on her mother’s tradition of watching Jeopardy! and Wheel of Fortune. A devoted fan of American Idol, she enjoyed discovering and cheering on new talent.
Linda was predeceased by her parents, Nicholas and Betty Andreacchi (née Gresh); her son, Richard Michael Andreacchi; and her siblings, Richard Andreacchi and Carol King (née Andreacchi).
Linda is survived by her daughter Shannon Fischer; her daughter Kelly Bernal (née Fischer); a grandson, Caden Bernal; brothers Arnold Andreacchi, Donald Andreacchi, Gary Andreacchi, Terry Andreacchi, and Nicholas Andreacchi; son-in-law, Anthony Bernal; sister-in-laws Debbie Andreacchi (née Karleski), Arlene Andreacchi (née Frolli), Gilda Andreacchi (née Herbert), Karen Kelly, and Donna Andreacchi (née McCloskey); and many nieces and nephews.
The impact of Linda’s generous spirit and beautiful smile will be forever remembered by all who knew and loved her. She will be remembered for her sense of humor, her big heart for people, her determined spirit, and her inner strength, all of which, along with her faith in God, helped her to enjoy life with enthusiasm no matter what her challenges might be. Her joie de vivre and determination were inspirational to everyone around her.
Linda’s celebration of life service will be held on April 5th in Menlo Park, California. All who knew and loved her are welcome. Please contact family members if you would like to attend.
Her resting place will be at the Italian Cemetery of Colma, California.
Rest in sweet, eternal peace, beautiful Mom.
