Maria Estelita Gavieres Dayao

Maria Estelita Gavieres Dayao, known to everyone as “Marie” or “Ka Marie,” passed away in Manila on October 4, 2023. 

Marie was born on January 5, 1949, to parents Rafael^† and Marina^† Gavieres.  Marie was the third of nine children and the eldest daughter.  She grew up in Paombong, Bulacan with siblings Jesus^†, Ignacio^†, Aurelio, Clarita, Luisa Flora^† “Baby Lou”, Editha, Carmen, and Arlene.

Marie was married on May 10, 1970, to Jorge Dayao^†.  They were happily married for 42 years before his passing.  She is survived by her two children, Jonathan and John Michael, daughters-in-law Mary Anne Claire and Jaime, and two wonderful grandchildren, Jackson and Cali.  

Please join us in paying our final respect to our dear Mom.  The viewings are scheduled for October 28^th and 29^th at Cypress Lawn Tiffany Chapel from 4-9pm.  Funeral Mass is scheduled at St. Augustine Church on October 30^th at 10:30am.
