Mery A Price

THE OBITUARY 

“Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of his saints.” 

 –Psalm 116.15 

On the morning of April 8, 2025 the Good Lord welcomed into his fellowship of the saints, Mery Alice Price.

Mery was born in Los Angeles, CA on March 29, 1943. With a family in the military, she moved around several times early in life before settling in Spokane, Washington. She graduated from high school. Then she earned 
got her Associates Degree from local Gonzaga University.

She moved from Spokane, Washington to San Francisco, CA in the early 1960s and met and married James Edward Price. From this union, three children, a son and two daughters, were added to their lives.

She was employed as a high school teacher for a few years in San Francisco before becoming one of the first employees of Bay Area Rapid Transit. She was a devoted Station Agent for them for 35 years.

She loved cooking often for her family and loved to shop, particularly at Loehmann’s, Nordstrom’s Rack, and TJ Maxx. She had an affinity for purses and hats and spent a great deal of time traveling, going to amusement parks, or to the beach, with her family. Her love of blessing others with her time, money, or advice was so vast that everyone who ever knew or met her never forgot her or her generosity.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her three children, Marcelene, Nicole, and Nicholas, her grandchildren, Jaleise, Jalynn, Kalon, Sanea, Kamari, and Kamille, her great-grandchildren, Brooklynn, DeAndre, and Carter, brothers,Robert, Donald, and Mark, sisters, Julie, Carolyn, and Barbara, and a host of other relatives and friends.
