It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Napoleon R. Urbina, affectionately known as NAP, on February 19, 2025, after a brave battle with lung cancer. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend to many.

NAP was born on April 10, 1939, in San Salvador, and later made Daly City, California, his home. He was a man of many talents and accomplishments, earning a High School Diploma and receiving an Honorable Discharge from the Armed Forces of the United States of America in 1963.

Throughout his life, NAP was known for his kindness, humility, reliability, care, and thoughtfulness. He was a well-respected businessman, owning three bars – NAPS, PEACOCK ALLEY, NAPS2, and NAPS3 – for over 50 years.

In 2003, NAP married the love of his life, Sharon T. Urbina, and together they created a beautiful blended family. He cherished his children, grandchildren, nieces, and nephews, and his memory will forever live on in their hearts.

As we celebrate the life of NAP, let us remember the words of Maya Angelou, who said, “I’ve learned that people will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel.” NAP made everyone he encountered feel valued and loved, leaving a lasting impact on all who knew him.

A ceremony to honor and celebrate NAP’s life will be held on March 6, 2025, at 4:00 PM. His legacy of love, kindness, and generosity will continue to inspire us all. Rest in peace, NAP, you will be deeply missed.
