Obituary for Patricia Zaragoza

Patricia Zaragoza, age 67, passed away at Sutter Delta Medical Center, Antioch, California, on Monday, July 22, 2024. She was born on June 25, 1957, in San Francisco, California, to William Granado Zaragoza and Joan Victoria Zaragoza.

Patricia was a beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt and friend who lived her life with passion and dedication. She was a faithful Catholic and found joy in her hobbies, including gambling, slot machines, and following her favorite sports teams, the San Francisco Giants and the Golden State Warriors. Her career as an in-home nursing supervisor was marked by compassion and commitment.

She is survived by her six children: Ticha Ennon, Sofia Mora, Elisa Tafeamalii, Jose Mora Jr., Manuel Mora, and Anthony Mora. Patricia also leaves behind a legacy of twenty-four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren: Deja Ennon, Joanna Ennon, Jasmine Maez, Nino Maez, Lisette Chavez, Sofia Chavez, Isaiah Mora, Anaya Mora, Gabriella Mora, Eric Tafeamalii, Soaga Tafeamalii, Samoa Tafeamalii, Angel Tafeamalii, Ricky Tafeamalii Jr., Sefina Tafeamalii, Jordan Tafeamalii, Ane Tafeamalii, Iva Tafeamalii, Teuila Tafeamalii, Manuel Mora Jr., Ciera Mora, Mailani Mora, Jeramiah Mora, and Aysha Mora; and Adaleah Diaz, Davina Diaz, and Atreus Tafeamalii.

She is preceded in death by her parents, William Granado Zaragoza and Joan Victoria Zaragoza, and her siblings, including brothers Andrew Zaragoza, Tony Zaragoza, and Esquiel Zaragoza III, and sisters Dolores Ballardo, Angie Zaragoza, Juanita Zaragoza, Lorriane Zaragoza, Theresa Zaragoza, and Tina Zaragoza.

Patricia was also cherished by numerous nieces and nephews, including Gene Ballardo, Jarod Ballardo, Francisco Esco, Ignacio Esco, Michael Esco, Steve Becerra, Celestino Carnales, Argelio Silva Jr., Esquiel Zaragoza IV., Trina Zaragoza, Pauline Best, Petra DeSales, Nina Atkins, Petra Becerra, Frances Carnales-Wilson, and Janea Aumua. Her friends, Sylvia and Pillar, as well as her beloved pets, Star and Princess, also hold her memory close.

We are reminded that while she has departed from this earth, her spirit lives on in the hearts of those she touched. Life holds many facets, and though she has left this realm, her love and legacy continue to inspire us.
