Remedios Conti Robles

Remedios Conti Robles, age 91, passed away Thursday, January 18, 2024.

Remedios Conti was born on November 5,1932 to Macaria Guia Conti and Julian Conti of Bauan, Batangas, Philippines. She was the youngest of eight children and the last surviving one until her passing.

Remedios worked in public education as an elementary school teacher for 12 years in the As-is barangay of the municipality of Bauan in Batangas, Philippines. She married Nemesio Quiogue Robles in Manila on January 14, 1961. They immigrated to the United States in 1970 and lived in San Francisco, CA for 13 years until moving to Daly City, CA. She is survived by her three children: Minerva, Minna, and Mendel.

Remedios also leaves behind: her son-in law, Redentor (husband of Minerva); daughter-in-law, Jean (wife of Mendel); grandchildren: Reva and Timothy (children of Minerva and Redentor), Noah (son of Jean and Mendel); great granddaughter: Riley (daughter of Reva and her husband, Justin); and loyal guard dog, Brownie (Minna’s Rottweiler Mix). 

A visitation and rosary vigil will be held on February 2, 2024, at Cypress Lawn Memorial Park, Tiffany Chapel in Colma, CA. Funeral service will held in her honor on February 3, 2024, at St. Augustine Catholic Church in South San Francisco, CA.

Remedios was dearly loved by all who knew her and will be greatly missed.
