Rhoneil Bueno, age 52, passed away peacefully at Mills-Peninsula Medical Center in Burlingame California, on Sunday, September 29, 2024, of natural causes. Born on June 14, 1972, in Manila, Philippines, he was the beloved son of Pepito Bueno and Perla Anderson.

Rhoneil grew up in the Philippines, alongside his brother, Dennis Bueno. He was known for his generous spirit, kind heart, and a stubborn but endearing            personality. On March 23, 1994, Rhoneil married Marieta S. Sanchez at St. Isidore Church in Manila, a partnership filled with love and devotion.

He pursued his education at the University of Santo Tomas for elementary school, attended high school at the University of Manila, and played basketball for UMP. Rhoneil later embarked on a successful career in hospitality and healthcare, working at Hilton Hotels for 17 years and St. Francis Hospital for 8 years. Most recently, he served as the Marketing Director of World System Builder, where he brought his passion and dedication to the role as the Senior Marketing Director as one of his greatest accomplishments.

Throughout his life, Rhoneil lived in Sampaloc, Manila, San Francisco, and Daly City, CA. His hobbies reflected his vibrant personality he was an avid basketball player and a loyal 49ers fan. Rhoneil enjoyed fishing, watching food-eating videos, listening to music, and indulging in great meals with friends and family.

Rhoneil’s unique sense of humor and love for people stood out in everything he did. He was known for treating those around him to food and laughter, leaving behind cherished memories for all who knew him. Even during his final days in hospice, his humor shone through when he asked his kids, “Can I finally get that cigarette and T-bone steak?” after being ordered to quit smoking by his doctors.

Rhoneil is survived by his loving wife, Mayeth Bueno of Hayward, CA; his children, Michael Bueno of Hayward, CA, Angelique Bueno of Hayward, CA, and Kimberly Bueno of San Jose, CA. He also leaves behind his parents, Pepito Bueno and Perla Anderson and his brother, Dennis Bueno; his nephews, Denuel John and Christian; and his cousin, Eric Criste.

In his memory, the family asks those wishing to contribute to Rhoneil’s funeral to kindly reach out to his wife, Mayeth.

Rhoneil lived by the words, “Money can’t buy happiness,” and his life can be summed up in three simple words: party, fun, and food.
