Rosalina Bisnar Santillan passed away peacefully on May 29th, 2024, in Seton Medical Hospital, Daly City. She was 89 years old.

Rosalina was born on March 30th, 1935, in Angeles Pampanga, Philippines. She was the daughter of Teofilo Bisnar and Agapita Diala Bisnar. She has two brothers, Alberto Bisnar (deceased) and other (deceased) brother and 4 sisters, Mercedes Aguirre (deceased), Miguela Devera (deceased), Rosita Babalcon (deceased), and the youngest sister, Arsenia Calica when she was 21 years old. Rosalina met her soulmate and the love of her life, Rodrigo Santillan. They were married in June 1960 and were blessed with 6 children: Ricardo (first child), Renato, Noel, Marylou (deceased), Marivic, and the youngest son, Rodrigo Jr. (deceased). She was blessed with 20 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and is known to them as (Lola) and/or (Mang). Her favorite past times were watching Pilipino teleserye (drama), Pilipino news, (noontime show) It’s Showtime, and walking at Gellert Park, and Serramonte mall. She likes the palabok from Manila Bay, Serramonte food court. Last year when she went on vacation to the Philippines, she enjoyed playing the card game (Tong-Its) with her grand kids.

The Santillan’s lived in San Juan for 35 years now their current place is in Capaz Tarlac, Philippines. They came here in the U.S. in May 2001. They used to live in Peoria, Daly City with their daughter Marivic, son-in-law, Ed. Her husband Rodrigo and grandchildren, Jeremiah and Nishia. Later they moved to Canterbury Avenue, Daly City with grandchildren, Jeremiah, Nishia, Naliah, and Mazel. And are still living there.

Her long journey was simple, yet full of love and happiness with her family.
