Sara Mora Baes

 Sara passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on Sunday morning 8/31/2025. 

Sara also known as Hermana Mora, Doña Sara, Abuelita to many, Mi Viejita to some and Mami to her children. She lived a happy long life, she had just celebrated her 105th birthday on 7/25/2025.

She was a religious women whose favorite past time was reading her bible. She also loved gardening and sewing. She loved to drink Pepsi and on cold Saturday mornings she always asked for a champurrado.

Sara was born 7/25/1920 in San Ciro San Luis Potosí, Mexico. She spent most of her adult life in San Francisco, Los Angeles and her last 7 years in Porterville, CA. She made her last trip back to San Francisco on 8/31/2025 to rest in peace. 

Sara had 5 children, 24 grandchildren , 40 great grandchildren and 22 great great grand children.

A visitation will be held from 5 to 9 pm on Sunday, September 14, 2025 in the Tiffany Chapel of Cypress Lawn Funeral Home, 1370 El Camino Real, Colma; the funeral service will be held in Tiffany Chapel at 10:00 a.m. Monday, September 15, 2025.  Entombment will follow in the Heritage Court Mausoleum at Cypress Lawn Cemetery.
