Zeny Gabriel

Zenaida “Zeny” Gabriel Santiago was born in Malolos, Bulacan on April 22, 1949. She was the 2nd child of five siblings of Faustino and Adoracion. She migrated to San Francisco in 1982. She worked at Letterman Army Hospital then transferred to UCSF Medical Center as a Patient Support Assistant. 

Zeny used to play Volleyball and Softball when she was in the Philippines. She always loved to travel and bring her camera to take pictures of the places she has been to. She has a big collection of caps from different countries and places as a remembrance of her travels. Most importantly, Zeny has devoted her life in taking care of her siblings and their family especially her nephews and nieces. She is known and called “Ninang” by her family as she is loving, caring and ready to help in any way that she can.

She passed away on October 17, 2024 after battling Pancreatic Cancer. She left behind her siblings Cora, Vicky, Boy and Ellen Santiago. She is survived by several loving nephews, nieces and cousins. She is now with her parents Faustino and Adoracion in heaven. Zeny is now at rest and in peace with our creator.
