For John Forest Crosby, serving families at Crosby-N. Gray Funeral Home truly runs in his family. He can still remember the lessons his grandfather and father taught him about serving families and delivering the best service, and now, John has passed these lessons onto his own son.

John has deep roots within his community. He attended grade school at St. Catherine’s and high school at Serra before attending the San Francisco College of Mortuary Science.

Because of his strong ties to his hometown, John feels compelled to give back through his involvement with the Italian Catholic Federation, the Hibernia Club, the Columbia Lodge, the Foster City Chamber of Commerce, the Burlingame Notary Club, and the Mission Hospice Auxiliary. He is passionate about developing our nation’s youth and volunteers with children’s sports programs in the area.
