Newall Chapel

Cypress Lawn’s Newall Chapel was built in 1893. This chapel survived the Great Earthquake of 1906, but was later destroyed by another earthquake in 1957.

The building was later replaced with a more contemporary design, featuring a stone and wood sanctuary and high arches, which create a harmonious aesthetic.

The space accommodates large groups — up to 180 guests — and offers state-of-the-art equipment, allowing for the livestreaming and recording of any service, along with the ability to play a video tribute during the service.
