Disposition Choices

When it comes to final disposition, your family has many options, including burial and scattering the remains.

If you choose burial, our team will help you select a cremation casket and burial urn. Our selection room has a variety of urns, cremation caskets, urn vaults, and more at varying price points.

If you would prefer to scatter your loved one’s cremated remains in a special place, you will need a temporary container to protect the cremated remains. Our team of experts will be able to advise you on the local and state regulations you need to know before the ceremony.

Some of the families we serve want to have a special place they can return to in the years to come. Cypress Lawn offers families the ability to choose a glass-front niche, which is where the urn will be stored in a weather-protected structure. Families can return at any time and can even place mementos from important life events next to where their loved one is inurned. This could include anything from a wedding invitation to a drawing from a grandchild.

Cypress Lawn’s “No-Risk Niche” offers families two years to decide if they’ve made the right decision. If a family changes their mind within that time period and decides Cypress Lawn is not the best fit for their needs, we’ll respect their decision and help them transition the urn elsewhere.

Within our Memorial Park, we are particularly proud of our Garden of Light, a cremation garden featuring a stunning mosaic that depicts the Golden Gate. This garden offers both below-ground and above-ground inurnment. Each niche can protect two urns and helps to create this beautiful piece of art.
