Friends, neighbors, and tree-lovers near and far, you are invited to celebrate the autumnal tree planting holiday of Colma, Arboretum Day! This free and fun event for the whole family will take place on the main entry lawn of our foundational East Campus, right in front of the historic Noble Chapel. Please join us for a day of tree education (and celebration!) of our diverse living collection of plants, 131 years in growing and ever branching out.
Events and activities for the day will include the following:
10AM – Special “Speaking for the Trees” Opening Ceremony with Arboretum Director Josh Gevertz (Hosted at Noble Chapel, RSVP only, event info HERE)
11AM-1 PM – “Plant Passport” tree learning stations open, featuring the following Arboretum Allies:
12 NOON-1:30 PM – Complimentary lunch hosted by Dulzura Cafe
(with voucher from completed “Plant Passport”)
1:30-2:30 PM – Main event performance by the famed Tree Circus
Also featured at our Arboretum Day celebration will be lawn games, Arboretum merch give-aways and a donation booth, expositions of tree care equipment and wood reclamation projects, and more!
